Siesta Key Beach
Why is Siesta Key beach consistently voted the #1 Beach in the continental United States?
It's the sand!
Most beaches are a mixture of quartz, coral and other minerals, giving the sand a darker color and coarse texture.
On Siesta Key, however, the sand is 99% quartz.
This results in pure white sand that is actually perfectly ground bits of quartz, smoothed and transformed over time. It also means the sand is super soft and almost squeaky as you walk on it. It remains cool to the touch, even on the hottest summer days (and locals can tell you that’s a valuable aspect of any beach).

Getting Around SIesta Key
WALKING
To reach the beach and town, just start walking west down Avenida de Mayo.
The town is only .04 mile.
Beach access points 2-8 are all less than .08 mile.
AIRPORT
There are several ride share options for easy access to the Sarasota, St. Pete, Tampa, and Punta Gorda airports, which are all with in an hour or so of the house.
TROLLEY
The Siesta Key trolly picks up at the end of our street in front of Morton's Market.
The Siesta Key Breeze Trolley is free for all riders.
Additionally, it operates seven days a week making getting around convenient.
The Trolley route follows Ocean Boulevard to Beach Road and down Midnight Pass Road.
Trolley hours: Daily 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

We provide a family set of bicycles during your stay.
There are 2 adult bikes, 2 trikes, and 3 kids bikes.
We chose to stay at this house for our honeymoon and we couldn’t be more happy with our decision. The house was in great condition and had everything we needed and more! The house was located in a great area right down the street from all of the restaurants, shops, and the beach. Danielle was really nice and responded extremely quickly whenever contacted. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to plan our next stay!

If we could give more than a 5 star review we would. This property is PERFECT for families looking for a Siesta Key getaway. No detail is missed at this beautiful vacation home. Close proximity to walk or bike to the main grocery market down the street or all the amazing shops and restaurants as well as the many beach access points. Our hosts communicated with us at every point of the way with detailed check in and check out instructions and reached out multiple times while we were there to see if our stay was enjoyable and if there was anything we needed. We will be back.

Immaculate and Adorable Home in Siesta Key!
This house is adorable, and the hosts have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay perfect. The view of the canal from the backyard and pool is gorgeous. We spotted dolphins swimming right off the dock! The entire property is immaculately clean. The beds are so comfortable, and we enjoyed great night's sleep. The screened in porch is great for morning coffee or evening dinner and games. The pool and hot tub are wonderful for days that are cooler. The location can't be beat as we could walk or bike to the beach. Also, we were able to walk to all the cute shops and restaurants in the Siesta Key Village. Can't wait to visit again!
